Research. We all use it, we all need it, we all do it- whether we realize it or not. But are we conducting research effectively? Do we know the BEST way to conduct our research? Herein lies the contents of this class. In this class, students will be taught the basics of conducting relevant, reliable research. My life has revolved around communication- both written and oral. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a triple minor in English, History and writing from the University of California, Davis, and have since taught English Language Arts for over five years. I have also taught specialized courses in Study Skills, just like this course right here. I have extensive training in student research methods, and truly believe that this skill is one that every student should explicitly be taught.
