2. Instructor Data Carpentry: Led workshops to introduce researchers to fundamental concepts, skills, and tools for working with data. Included lessons on data management and analysis for genomics research taking place over two full days of instruction.
3. R Bootcamp for Scientific Computing: Served as an instructor in an annual week-long bootcamp for the R programming Language. Boot camp included an introduction to data analysis and statistical computing.
4. Graduate Student Mentorship: Mentored 3 undergraduate and junior scientists in cancer biology and bioinformatics including: scientific writing and presentation, laboratory skills, bioinformatics and data analysis.
