US Grade Preschool - 1
Now more than ever, learners need to be comfortable with technology from a very young age. Confidence with computer skills will help learners navigate online environments comfortably and maximize learning. In this class, we will learn and practice basic computer mouse skills through interaction and game play. Students will learn how to click with accuracy, drag and drop, and resize pictures using a mouse. If your learner would like to practice these skills more than once, different games can be provided in repeated classes. Classes are one-on-one to allow the student as much time as they need to complete the tasks. Parents should be present to help the student as needed. This class may be taken on a computer or laptop with a physical mouse or touchpad. Chromebooks and tablets will not allow me to give remote access to the student to do the games. From my experience working with younger students, I recommend using a physical mouse.

I'm an accountant with a teaching background who enjoys learning and strives to foster a love of learning in students through games and interactive learning. I believe students learn best when they are having fun and interacting with the material.
I have always had a passion for learning and have diverse interests. I'm especially passionate about building strong foundations in language and math. I believe confidence in these two areas will give students the tools to learn almost anything they'd like to in life.
As an accountant, I have expertise in mathematics and finance. I'm an Enrolled Agent and believe everyone should be proficient in budgeting and personal finance. I believe a strong foundation in math is important to develop advanced skills with numbers later in life. Likewise, strong grammar and language skills will help students communicate effectively and give them the tools to learn anything they'd like to. I'm also passionate about culture and language and have formally studied nine languages, including studying abroad. I want to share the world with students through language and exploration.
I hope to share my love of learning with each of my students as they explore their personal interests. In doing so, students will become lifelong learners and continue to grow in and out of the classroom.Reviews
