In this class, learners will work together with the teacher to create a 4-bar/4-measure melody, using music notation software via a shared screen, which will also allow learners to listen to their created melodies. We will work through examples using different keys and time signatures, focusing on choosing a harmonic structure that makes the melody sound complete. - Compose short melodies in a range of keys and time signatures.
Either paper with stave lines, or music notation software (any free software is fine). If using software, the learner must be already familiar with how to enter notes.
