Hello! In this Complex Character Creation class, students will learn about the various options available to them when making a new character at higher levels. There are a lot of benefits to practice making a character at higher levels as students will learn more about the game such as levelling up, features the characters can obtain, and taking on a second class (multiclassing). The class will be taught using informative PowerPoint slides as well as D&D Beyond, a website with a lot of resources and with the capabilities of creating these higher levelled characters. This is not a beginner character creation class per say, so I recommend that students only enroll after having made a character at level 1 so they can see how to level up the character and make choices for their character at higher levels.
Learning Goals
Students will learn more about Dungeons and Dragons through creating a higher levelled character. Students will understand all the options available to their characters as they level up and obtain better equipment/abilities. Students will also understand the concept of multiclassing and the benefits/disadvantages to this option in higher level character building.Other Details

I recommend setting up a free D&D Beyond account on the website so that we can use the free character slots to create a new, higher levelled character.

Hello! My name is Violet Wallace and I teach a variety of subjects and topics from debate and persuasion to character building, and even Dungeons and Dragons! When it comes to my teaching career, I have taught full time for 3 years now; one year in Canada in Adult Education teaching English Language Arts and Computer Studies and two years in the UK covering subjects from English Language Arts, Religious Studies, Photography, French, Spanish, and a bit of Biology! I believe that teachers need to be passionate about what they teach, caring and understanding to their students, and to be the best mentors/support systems they can be for their students. Progress is important and if we are having fun while being challenged along the way, a lot of growth will happen naturally in the classroom. I also have a pet cat named Wasabi who may make the occasional appearance in class! Reviews
