Hello! In this Complex Character Creation class, students will learn about the various options available to them when making a new character at higher levels. There are a lot of benefits to practice making a character at higher levels as students will learn more about the game such as levelling up, features the characters can obtain, and taking on a second class (multiclassing). The class will be taught using informative PowerPoint slides as well as D&D Beyond, a website with a lot of...
Students will learn more about Dungeons and Dragons through creating a higher levelled character. Students will understand all the options available to their characters as they level up and obtain better equipment/abilities. Students will also understand the concept of multiclassing and the benefits/disadvantages to this option in higher level character building.
I recommend setting up a free D&D Beyond account on the website so that we can use the free character slots to create a new, higher levelled character.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
