This class will give you a rich overall art experience. Focused on teaching you every technique you will need per each art medium. You will discover Impressionism, Surrealism, Expressionism, Cubism, Chinese Painting, Japanese Painting, Abstract Art, Pop Art. Giving you a solid connection between the history of art, various artists all while you are experiencing it for yourselves. Here you will create projects step by step alongside your instructor. Mixed Media Paper or Canvas Boards (8 1/2 X 12) Drawing Pencil Eraser Fine Black Pen for outlining Acrylic Paint (various colors/set) Brushes (various brushes, large flat, round, detail, angle) Newspaper White Elmers Glue or ModPodge (No clear glue or glue sticks) Ink (we will discuss colors needed in week 3, giving you 2 full weeks to prepare before needed) Apron or Old Tshirt to cover clothes (paints and ink stain) Paper Towels Cup of Water
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
