The Complete Second Quarter plus Literacy: 2nd and 3rd Grade course includes nine weeks of instruction and a final week of review and assessment. Students will receive rubric-based grades for each assignment as well as an average grade for the course. We will cover Math, English Language Arts, Life Science, Geography/map reading, Art, Health, Project-Based Learning, and Literacy. Students will learn 2nd and 3rd-grade skills with a focus on literacy.
I am a certified veteran teacher with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education, a minor in Theatre Arts, a certificate/endorsement in (TESOL) Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology.
