Description
Class Experience
This class will cover a full year of first grade language arts and math instruction. Students will focus on whole group skills according to first grade standards as well as receive individualized help as needed for support and growth. Each day will be broken down into 1 hour of language arts and 45 minutes of math. The daily breakdown is as follows: 40minutes of whole group language arts and writing 20 minutes of phonics and guided reading small group instruction 40 minutes of math...
Students will need to bring paper/pencil or whiteboard/marker to class to work on. They will also need to bring any printed handouts posted in the classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
7 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
