Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing class, the students will listen to non-fiction books to research two science or social studies topics, or look at and discuss photos of two science or social studies concepts.  The students will then learn how to create their own VENN DIAGRAM.  They will label each section.  The students will then use the teacher led concepts as well as think of their own concepts from listening to the non-fiction research to compare and contrast. ~Students will use their listening skills to listen for facts in literature.
~Students will us creative skills to create a Venn diagram.
~Students will use writing skills to label a Venn diagram.
~Students will use communication skills to interact with other students.
~Students will us language skills to compare and contrast two concepts.

The students will need:
white paper, pencil, crayons or colored pencils.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
