In this course, we will discuss how to write a compare and contrast essay. We will be learning about two similar yet different animals. We will be learning how to write an essay on their similarities and differences.

In the class, students will learn how to write a compare and contrast essay. How to compare and contrast, prewriting, writing introductory, supporting details, and conclusion paragraphs will be discussed. I am very passionate about writing. I am a bubbly person who loves to write. It is a lecture class where students will follow the teacher while we write a compare and contrast essay.

What is means to compare and contrast two or more topics. Teacher will give an example of two different yet similar animals. Lesson 2:
Prewriting
We will look at two different articles on two different types of pets, how they interact and what they need to survive. We will look for key points in the articles on how the animals are like and different. Lesson 3:
Writing: Introductory
We will discuss what makes a good introductory paragraph Lesson 4:
Writing: Main Idea and Supporting Details
We will work on the main idea and supporting details of the essay. Focusing on one paragraph of how the animals are similar and one on how they are different. Other Details
