This class will come together for a community meeting. The purpose of this class is for students to have a safe environment to come together to practice their conversational skills within a group. The structure will be as follows: 1. Students will say hello and briefly introduce themselves to the group. (5 minutes) 2. The teacher will provide an ice-breaker question. Ex: Would you rather eat all your food with a spoon or have to travel only by pogo stick? What's your favorite season and why?...
Students will practice speaking in a group. Students will practice listening to others to understand. Students will practice asking questions to clarify.
None, but if there is something that you'd like to share and is appropriate for class feel free to bring it along.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
