Description
Class Experience
Students learn about jobs people in the community hold and understand opportunities that are available to them. We will discuss 24 jobs, where people work, primary tasks, and vehicles or special tools needed. Day One: Dentist, Teacher, Software Developer, Librarian, Biomedical Engineer, Astronaut, Vet Day Two: Physical Therapist, Engineer, Weather Person, News Reporter, Farmer, Postal Worker, First Responders Day Three: Doctor/Nurse, X-Ray, Computer Analyst, Construction Workers, Financial Advisor, Pilot, Military Service Fine motor skills and discussion skills encouraged
I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.
