Communicating and storytelling are important parts of our lives. This class will allow your child to learn the art of communicating and how to make stories their own.
Class experience
If your child has a creative mind, then this is the class for them. Each student will learn how to communicate and take a story and make it their own. Homework will be practicing communication skills and coming up with their own stories. The learner is evaluated by the creativity that they put in. I have performed storytelling in a local Technical College, and I have published children's books. My love for writing allows me to help children to see their potential and to be creative.
The students will need to bring a book they love to class, and some books will be asked to obtain; however, they most likely will be able to get the book from their local library.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The material is all age appropriate; however if students are going on the internet, parents need to be aware of the sites that the students are going on.
