Description
Class Experience
- Compare and contrast common forms of modern communication - Determine the most effective and appropriate form of communication for various situations - Clearly define goals in communication - Engage in goal-based forms of communication - Understand the basic psychology of communication - Use a decision tree to assemble key pieces of information for communication - Make determinations of what and how much information to communicate - Understand the long term impact of digital archives - Utilize past communications and experiences to simplify future communications
Learners will have practice assignments to write various forms of communication for different situations. These assignments should take 10-20 minutes per week outside of class.
Learners will receive feedback on practice assignments and each learner will receive an end of class written assessment with recommendations for areas of additional practice based on the practice assignments.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
