Description

Class Experience

Students will strengthen their understanding of commonly misspelled homonyms. They will increase their accuracy in correctly spelling:
*there/their/they're
*too/to/two
*it's/its
*you're/your
(other homophones to be included as time allows)
I have taught homophones as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher.
 1 file available upon enrollment
*Bingo Sheet (will be uploaded for the student and family to print before class) *counters (pennies, buttons, or a similar small item) [Alternatively, students may be able to pull up the Bingo worksheet on a separate device from the one they use for the meeting.]
Students will be assessed informally through a Homonym Bingo game.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
