In this 4-week self-paced (flex) (no live meetings) class, learners will learn the difference between 16 different sets of words that are commonly confused. Some are homophones.

This class has a self-paced (flexible) schedule. All lessons are pre-recorded. There are no live meetings. Each week, learners will watch a mini-lesson video that will teach 4 sets of commonly confused words. Some of them are homophones, and some are just similar words. Learners will receive 4 worksheets each week that will provide practice for each of the word sets. Answer keys will be provided for each worksheet for learners to check their work. Students will improve their understanding of commonly confused words that are either homophones or similar words through hands-on practice.
I have a degree in elementary and special education. I have taught English online for 5 years and taught at a math and reading center for 6 years. I strive to help each student understand the material to mastery and believe every student has their own unique strengths.
Homework Offered
Learners will receive 4 worksheets each week to complete. Worksheets should take 30-60 minutes to complete.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Four one-page worksheets will be provided each week. Worksheets can be printed, completed electronically with a pdf writer, or completed on a separate sheet of paper.
