Description
Class Experience
This class has a flexible schedule. All lessons are pre-recorded. There are no live meetings. Each week, learners will watch a mini-lesson video that will teach 4 sets of commonly confused words. Some of them are homophones, and some are just similar words. Learners will receive 4 worksheets each week that will provide practice for each of the word sets. Answer keys will be provided for each worksheet for learners to check their work. I will answer questions and provide personalized...
Students will improve their understanding of commonly confused words that are either homophones or similar words through hands-on practice.
I have a degree in elementary and special education. I have taught English online for 5 years and taught at a math and reading center for 6 years. I strive to help each student understand the material to mastery and believe every student has their own unique strengths.
Learners will receive 4 worksheets each week to complete. Worksheets should take 30-60 minutes to complete.
Four one-page worksheets will be provided each week. Worksheets can be printed, completed electronically with a pdf writer, or completed on a separate sheet of paper.
A formal grade can be assigned if requested.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
