Common Spelling Mistakes - All About Homophones Camp
In this 3 day camp, students will learn to spell and use homophones correctly. This class will cover more than ten commonly misused homophone pairs, including their/there/they're, to/too/two, and your/you're.

Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of common homophones. They will be able to spell the homophones correctly and use the homophones correctly when writing, based on its meaning.
I have been an elementary teacher for over 20 years. I have always taught reading and spelling to students. I see the confusion with using homophones correctly with students and adults. I will use my knowledge of teaching through creative activities to help students become proficient in using common homophones.
1 file available upon enrollmentPlease print the attached file to use each day during class. You will need the game board every day and you also need the resource guide each day.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
