In a live class, this course will help writers to get started with their comedy script. Students will take away knowledge plus exercises to continue working on at their convenience as well as formatting the comedy idea into a written script. Class 1: We will cover the basics to get started, learn a writing practice on how to generate ideas, and expand on one idea, Class 2: We will write out the beats of the idea, and perform or share the writing. Students can take this course once and come away with a short script in progress or completed depending on length. This course can be taken multiple times --- students will be able to improve their current writing projects or work on new ones and present them.

Now I am back at the university where I studied teaching part-time -- Communications, Journalism & Media, including social media multimedia, writing, and professional communications courses.
I have been fortunate to take writing courses from Bob Wakulich, Angie Abdou, Aaron Sorkin, Natalie Goldberg, James Patterson, and Shonda Rhimes. I have 10 years of experience putting scripts into production for live performances as well as assisting many learners to get their ideas onto paper.
