In this ongoing class for learners 3-6 years of age, the Teacher will read and dramatize stories. Learners will listen, draw, dance, move, sing, chant as they explore different books and help their Teacher read the story as learners begin to recognize words and begin reading themselves. This class will meet twice a week [2X] for twenty-five minutes and will be packed with great, exciting, amazing stories read by the Teacher first, while learners are encouraged to repeat words, chant short...

I LOVE reading! and reading to others, especially children. As a Principal and educator of 50+ years, I always read in my classroom; as Tutor, volunteer teacher around the world and as a Principal to small and large groups of students at a time. Additionally, I was trained via classes at the Los Angeles Music Center on story telling methods. My love for reading began as a little girl, one who always had a book in her hand and even read under the covers at night when the lights were supposed to be out. I LOVE reading [reading to and being read to], singing, movement and just plain ol' FUN! and I'll help instill that love in your learner, too!

Grades Offered
Parents, please make sure your learner goes to the bathroom before class begins, is rested and ready to listen to a story and participate in the entire twenty-five minute session. Along with reading, there will be movement, singing, laughing, lots of fun and possible scavenger hunts. Please make sure your learner is in a quiet, comfortable story-listening-to space.
