Class Experience

From serving drinks and snacks to Saving Lives Flight Attendants play such an important role. But.. What exactly are the responsibilities of a Flight Attendant and how do I become one? In this class students will learn basic information on how to become a flight attendant, what a flight attendant does when working, and a few basic parts of an airplane. Students will also get to see pictures of layovers that flight attendants get to experience when working. This class is designed to be very laid back and fun! Students are highly encouraged to participate in all activities but are not required to do so.

We will be working a total of 3 flights in this training! :)

On our First Flight we will learn…
What a Flight Attendant is and how to become one. There will be a presentation with this information and a discussion where students will have the opportunity to make connections by sharing experiences they have had with flight attendants. During this discussion students will receive their very own Flight Attendant crew badge, they will color and draw a picture of themselves on it.

On Our Second Flight We will learn…
The responsibilities of a Flight Attendant in a work day. Students will each receive a Worksheet that will include a flight attendant paper figurine, a uniform and accessories. Students can color and dress their flight attendant. (Please make sure that all pieces are cut out before class begins.) If students don't finish this activity during class they can continue working after class. This will be another opportunity for students to make connections by sharing their experiences.

On our third and final flight we will arrive at our Destination and We will learn…
A few basic Parts of an Airplane. We will build and decorate our very own miniature airplane craft. (Please make sure that all airplane pieces are cut before class begins.) If students don't finish their airplane craft during class they can continue working after class.

At the end of class each student will receive a completion certificate and paper wings that they can color, cut, and wear.

Flight attendants please be seated for take off!
I hope that you will join me on this adventure! :)
