Do you want to make a paper airplane? Do you know what design of paper airplane works best? Join us to learn how to make basic paper airplanes. We will learn about aerodynamics and how they impact the flight of these creations. We will make predictions about which planes fly farther. After creating our paper airplanes and testing them out, we will use the scientific method to discuss how to make adjustments in order to make them fly more effectively. Youth will learn about aerodynamics and design utilize the scientific method to improve upon an original design.
Youth will need paper to make the paper airplanes. Scissors, crayons, markers, or colored pencils are optional.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
