Come and Draw a Cute Anna with Me!

We will have fun together drawing a picture of Anna from 'Frozen' along with reading a book and discussing it to help with comprehension.

Class Experience

This class will be a lot of fun. We will read a book, sing Frozen songs, and draw a picture of Anna. The drawing will be a step-by-step drawing so your child will easily be able to create their own artwork. There will be lots of discussion during class to keep your child engaged in the lesson and with comprehension. 

We will use a PowerPoint presentation to follow guided steps to draw a picture of Anna. After we finish the drawing portion of the class, the students will have time to color their new picture. As they are coloring I will read a 'Frozen' book to the children and we will talk about the book and the movies.

A piece of paper - such as printer paper
A pencil
Optional - something to color the picture with such as crayons, colored pencils, or markers.

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am so excited to be teaching here on Outschool. I have been a teacher for just around 15 years. I taught in brick and mortar schools from 2005 until 2018. I taught everything from Preschool to 3rd Grade and even a year of 6th grade. I can't really tell you my favorite age, because they all have so many pros about them. My passion for teaching comes from my love of helping children succeed. I love to see their eyes light up when they have finally had that light bulb moment with a concept. I love to explore new ways to teach a concept. This is part of the reason I started teaching online part-time in 2017. And now I have been teaching online full-time for just about 2 years. It gives me the flexibility to do what I love and to create my own schedule so that I am available when my family needs me. I have 4 children ranging in age from 3-12. We love playing board games and reading books. My kids have all inherited my love of books! I have a wide variety of interests in teaching subjects. I think my biggest passion is teaching reading to young learners. I can't wait to share my love for learning with your child!
