I am a secondary stage teacher, the training of which includes specific instruction and practical experience of special education. In my current role I run social skills sessions during unstructured times of the day for children with a variety of needs, including ASD (autism spectrum disorder). In addition to this I have two children both under assessment for autism. Colored pencils or markers Coloring pages will be given on an optional basis, or learners can use their own.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
