Colors: Preschool Story Time & Scavenger Hunt
In this one-time preschool course, students will enjoy a story time about colors and then find examples of each color in their own scavenger hunt at home to demonstrate content comprehension.

Students will be introduced to the subject of colors during story time by listening to the preschool book, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" They will repeat and respond to questions about colors to practice identifying colors as a group. As they hear a color named, they participate in a scavenger hunt to find an object of that color in their house to share with the class. Multiple opportunities will be provided for each student to participate verbally, both as a group and individually, to practice new words and demonstrate comprehension.

We will reference Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Eric Carle and Bill Martin Jr. If time allows, we will also practice naming colors with Blue Hat, Green Hat by Sandra Boynton.
