In this on-time class, students will be introduced to the colors of the rainbow. We will play a fun color sorting game, create a rainbow using skittles, work on patterns, sing some color songs, draw a rainbow, and end with a color scavenger hunt. This is a great preschool class with lots of hands-on activities to keep young learners engaged. What to expect: 1. Welcome and ice breaker question 2. Discuss rainbows 3. Sing a color song 4. Sorting game 4. Make a skittle pattern 5. Skittle rainbow experiment 6. Draw a rainbow 7. Color scavenger hunt

Supply List
For our science experiment, students will need a bag of skittles, a cup of water, and a plate. They will also need the following colors to draw with, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education- I’m a certified (K-8th grade) Elementary teacher.
- Kindergarten teacher- I’m a full time certified kindergarten teacher I also was a previous Pre-K teacher for many years before moving to kindergarten.
- Online ESL ( English as a Second Language) teacher - I have been an online teacher for five years, tutoring students ages 3- 12 years old. I have taught phonics, reading comprehension, spelling, writing, and basic math with this online program.
- Tutoring- I have been tutoring elementary-aged (ages 5-10) student's literacy, phonics, and phonemic awareness for the past eight years. I have taught letter identification, letter sound, CVC words, word families, blends, rhyming words, syllables, sight words, spelling, writing, and reading comprehension. I create my own lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Children's Pastor- I am a children's pastor for ages birth through 5th grade. I create lesson plans and manage/ organize volunteers to help in our children's ministry.
-I am married and a mom of two children.
