In this one time course learners will practice finding and sorting colors.
Class experience
US Grade Preschool
In this 20 minute course, learners ages 3-5 will explore colors using the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr and Eric Carle. The topics of naming colors, identifying and matching colors to the book animals will be taught. Conversation with the teacher and other students will also be a focus of instruction. The class is structured as a whole group activity with the teacher reading the book, page by page. As a new color animal is introduced in the book, students...
1. Students will identify basic colors. 2. Students will find objects in their homes. 3. Students will discuss colors with the teacher and fellow classmates.
Learners will need access to toys or other household items in a variety of colors. If the student has a copy of Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr and Eric Carle, they can have it available in class.
Parent or guardian may choose to sit with young students during this course.
