US Grade Preschool
In this 20 minute course, learners ages 3-5 will explore colors using the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr and Eric Carle. The topics of naming colors, identifying and matching colors to the book animals will be taught. Conversation with the teacher and other students will also be a focus of instruction. The class is structured as a whole group activity with the teacher reading the book, page by page. As a new color animal is introduced in the book, students will be invited to find matching color objects in their homes. Students will share their objects with the teacher and other students. Opportunity will be provided often for students to interact with the teacher and other students. This class will offer relaxed teaching with the intent to practice colors, hear a story and interact with others in a virtual platform.
Learning Goals
1. Students will identify basic colors.
2. Students will find objects in their homes.
