We will be learning about colors in this fun interactive class. The children will learn about red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, pink, black, white and brown. We will touch on what is a primary color and what is a secondary color. After going over the basics we will play a couple interactive games to help the children remember the colors we just learned. We will also be painting! I will paint alongside the children while we explore color mixing to learn how two primary colors create a whole new secondary color.
Learning Goals
Students will gain knowledge of the different colors and what happens when you mix them. Children will develop fine motor skills when using a paint brush during the activity.

Hi everyone! I'm Mrs. Amanda. I am married and just purchased my first home! Yay! I will have an entire room that will become my classroom for Outschool. Ever since I was a child, I have known that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up and here I am. I absolutely love learning as much as I love teaching and I love helping children develop that love of learning as well. I have a Birth to Kindergarten bachelors teaching degree. I have been teaching in an early childhood setting full time for four years now and before that I taught part time in various early childhood settings for nine years while attending school and earning my degree. I have taught ages ranging from birth to age five but also have some experience working with older children. I will be teaching classes that cover a wide variety of topics such as; colors, parts of a plant, animals, seasons, and more. My classes will be fun, engaging and interactive!
