This one-time class will invite kids to learn and discuss the American Revolution through coloring important images from the time period.

Class Experience

This class is intended to teach young learners about the American Revolution through coloring pictures of relevant images from the time period. Students will color the American Seal, the Liberty Bell and a picture of George Washington. Each picture will be discussed as well as the relevance of the image to the American Revolution. There will also be a class discussion for those who have questions or would like to share their ideas with the class as well as a fun trivia style game at the end...

Students will know who George Washington is as well as his relevance to the Revolutionary war. They will also understand the background and purpose of the American Seal and the Liberty Bell.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and am excited to have the opportunity to share my love of history through teaching.

Students will not have homework but may finish the coloring pages after class if they are not done during the session.

  3 files available upon enrollment
3 coloring pages will be available for students to print before the beginning of class. Students will also need crayons, coloring pencils, or markers with basic colors to complete the coloring pages during the lesson time.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
