This class is intended to teach young learners about the American Revolution through coloring pictures of relevant images from the time period. Students will color the American Seal, the Liberty Bell and a picture of George Washington. Each picture will be discussed as well as the relevance of the image to the American Revolution. There will also be a class discussion for those who have questions or would like to share their ideas with the class as well as a fun trivia style game at the end of the lesson. This will be a fast paced lesson with the goal of inspiring young learners as well as gain base knowledge of the American Revolution at an age appropriate level.
Learning Goals
Students will know who George Washington is as well as his relevance to the Revolutionary war. They will also understand the background and purpose of the American Seal and the Liberty Bell.

Supply List
3 coloring pages will be available for students to print before the beginning of class. Students will also need crayons, coloring pencils, or markers with basic colors to complete the coloring pages during the lesson time.
