Class experience
In this ongoing club-style class, students will have the opportunity to gather each week to visit with other students, and… color! Coloring is known for its benefits of relaxation and overall well-being. I believe this is the perfect time to support students in exploring and playing with this fun stress-relief technique in community, with other kids. Even in my own life, I've noticed that a short coloring break can make a huge difference in feeling more calm, focused, and ready to take on...
Students will color a coloring page of choice to relief stress and being peace and relaxation. Students will share their coloring and talk about their experience. Students will comment with kind words and compliments on other students’ coloring pages and experiences.

Students will be assessed based on participation, which includes being respectful and kind to all students in the class while coloring.Grades Offered
I will provide a PDF of a coloring page that can be printed and brought to class. Or students may choose to bring a coloring book or coloring page of choice. Other than that, some basic crayons or colored pencils will work great!
