Description
Class Experience
Learners will color, curate, and socialize with other class participants. During this one time class, we will use markers. We will explore and examine how we like using this media. I will provide some tips and tricks for using markers. Curating will focus on one's own work, so this is certainly a safe space for those who may fear criticism of their artwork. Each artist will set her or his own pace for coloring. Personally, I tend to work slowly, so there is no worry that your child will be...
No specific homework will be assigned. But, depending on the learner's coloring pace, they may or may not finish their piece in class. This is absolutely no problem! If they don't finish during class time, they can post their finished artwork on the classroom page. This should help your artist to feel comfortable coloring at her or his own pace.
+Coloring book or pages: I like less detailed ones with large spaces, as shown above, but use whatever your artist likes. +Markers: I prefer to use permanent ones, but washable/non-permanent are okay too.* *No specific brand is needed. I purchase all my supplies at my local Walmart.*
