This is a relaxing acrylic class for young artists to practice painting vibrant sunsets. Learners will explore color mixing, blending, and brush techniques while discovering their artistic flow. I am committed to ensuring that my learners receive the best possible guidance and support. In line with this, I will be providing constructive feedback on their work, and share valuable tips on how they can enhance their skills and implement the necessary changes in their work. We will focus on the creative process so that learners can build their confidence in their creative abilities at their own pace. Learners will complete nine sunsets using different painting techniques. They can decorate their walls with vibrant sunsets to uplift their mood or gift it to loved ones. Learners will follow along as the teacher demonstrates step-by-step instructions using an easygoing approach. Learners will first practice making their own color wheels to understand color theory and how to mix vibrant colors. We will then create warm, cool, monochromatic, and a variety of beautiful, vibrant sunsets. This is a self-paced course and there are no live meetings. Weekly pre-recorded instructional videos will be posted in the classroom. Videos are no longer than an hour. Learners will watch and paint along to a painting a week except for the first week. In the first week of class, I will demonstrate how to mix bright, vibrant colors. This will give your learner a strong base for their paintings. In the last week, learners will reference their own chosen photo. Learners will present their final painting through a short video recording in the classroom. Learners will be able to watch the recordings on their own schedule. They will also be provided a packet and two printables. The teacher will also provide positive feedback. Learners are required to share their paintings in the classroom for feedback and support. This class is designed with beginners in mind. Young artists will learn basic acrylic painting techniques and apply these techniques to create their masterpieces. The benefit of a self-paced class: *Learners from all time zones may enroll. *Learners will learn at their own pace. They can pause, rewind, and replay the videos as many times as needed. * Flexible for families with a busy schedule or those who have a scheduling conflict. * The teacher is always available to troubleshoot or address any questions/ concerns that learners may have.
