Colorful Flavored Fizzy Drink Bombs!
During this class the students will learn how to make colorful fizzy drink bombs. We will learn how to measure the ingredients in grams and watch the chemical reaction when certain ingredients are added together.

Beginner Level
I am a fun engaging teacher that encourages input from the students at their comfort level. We are a hands on structured class that allows the student to make the bombs alongside me. General supply list will be supplied prior to class and the student can express their individuality in choosing fun variations of flavors and colors.

There are possible allegens associated with this class. The ingredients include the following.
Candy flavoring
Baking soda
Granulated Sugar
Powdered Sugar
Citric Acid
Food coloring
If your child has an allergy or sensitivity to any of these ingredients it is recommended that you consider a different course.
There are no other other outward hazzards associated with this course as there is no heat source used, no knives, or other possible safety issues readily identified.
It is recommended that products be opened prior to class to decrease risk of potential safety issues related to the opening of the products themselves.
Supply List
Supplies to make fizzy drink bombs are: 3 bottle of candy flavoring .0125fl oz each ( I use Lorann's) Baking soda Granulated Sugar Powdered Sugar Citric Acid ( 150 grams) Water spritzer bottle Food coloring Digital scale (can make it work if you do not have one) measuring cups bowl, wooden spoon, 1.96 inch metal bath bomb mold (or any size you have) This mold will make approx 17 bombs I put a silicone mat down on my table but not required.

Welcome to Outschool! My name is Miss Connie and I am a mom of 2 adult children and a retired ESL teacher. I taught online ESL classes for 5 years. Besides teaching kids online, I also volunteer my time at my local church here in PA(USA).
Since 2022 I have owned my own candy/treat business that I run from inside my home and travel to craft shows. My tables consist of Hot cocoa bombs, fizzy drink bombs, kettle corn, cake pops, decorated rice crispy treats and festive chocolate covered pretzels and oreos. I would love to teach children how to make all of my yummy creations to share with their friends.
I have always been very passionate about teaching children things to do other than electronics and getting back to the basics. In this class we will be learning how to measure in grams, learn vocabulary enrichment by learning vocabulary associated with cooking, scientific reactions that happen as a result of the combination of ingredients all while the students will have social interaction with others working on a common activity. I believe that every child has an inner artistic ability in their own way, and making these fizzy drink bombs can bring that out in each child by getting creative with flavors and colors.
