Class Experience

Welcome to Colorful Conversations! This ongoing social club will meet one day a week. This class will be an amazing opportunity for kids to make new online friends. Each week we will have fun learning about each other, practicing asking questions and giving responses and then completing a fun coloring project. Each week will have a different theme that will guide the conversation.

During each class, students will have a chance to introduce themselves and show off a toy/picture related to specific topic. Kids will practice asking questions to each other and teacher will help guide the discussion throughout. This is a perfect class for students to make new friends and practice their social skills especially within the online environment.

Topics of Classes Will Include:
WEEK 1 (Sept 29)--All About Me
WEEK 2 (Oct 6)--Blast Off To Space
WEEK 3 (Oct 13)--All Things Fall
WEEK 4 (Oct 20)--Out To The Pumpkin Patch
WEEK 5 (Oct 27)--Costume Fun

I will allow learners to suggest future topics for the weeks as the class continues.

The teacher will provide a new coloring/activity sheet each week related to the topic of the week or learners can bring their own. We will have time at the end of class to show our creations! I cannot wait to meet your learners.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Diana Nazari and I am so excited to have you in my classroom! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Randolph Macon College in Virginia and a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University. In my day job I work predominantly with children in the public school system helping them have optimal success in their academic environment specifically in the areas of sensory processing, fine motor skills and self care skills. At home I have three active boys and as a family we love to do many activities including hiking, sports and Cub Scout events. I have been teaching on multiple teaching platforms for the last two years and I love helping students be able to access this new and exciting technology.

I am excited to begin offering a wide portfolio of classes looking at topics related to fine motor skills, sensory motor play, executive functioning and handwriting.

I love helping children get excited about learning. I believe all classes should be engaging and interactive. My goal while teaching is to make the topic exciting and approachable. I am so excited and thrilled to get the chance to work with you at Outschool. I believe that we can work together as a team to help you reach your goals for your child. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you and your family! See you soon!
