The main target of the class is to introduce students of basic painting principles using the color wheel. The steps include preparing the palette with colors and it will be supported with samples during the learning process. Most color wheels are based on three primary colors, three secondary colors, and the six intermediates formed by mixing a primary with a secondary, known as tertiary colors, for a total of 12 main divisions; some add more intermediates, for 24 named colors. They make use of the trichromatic model of color. The students can add some own details during practices, which allows them to be creative. The way I teach is simple and the students will emphasize on the painting process. We will create unique charts of primary, secondary, tertiary color e t. c... I will explain the full meaning of hue, value, saturation as good characteristics of colors. We can do a short discussion at the end of the class. It is open for all levels of students who love painting. Week of June 27 - Color Wheel and Colors Week of July 4 - Primary Colors Week of July 11 - Secondary Colors Week of July 18 - Tertiary Colors
