25 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This class is meant to help kids understand, recognize, and practice kindness in their lives. I will first talk about the scientific based benefits of kindness and explain how "kindness colors our world" and show an animated video of people being kind to each other. We will end by making cards or drawing a picture to give away to someone while we listen to relaxing music. The course encourages interaction between the students and the teacher, including talking about times when they were kind, and participating in the class and the kindness activity. My slides use visual based learning techniques to help the kids remember what we are learning. I encourage students to practice being kind outside of the class and teach their families what they learned.
Learning Goals
