If your child enjoyed Intro to Color Stories for Aspiring Designers, they will love this follow-up course! This activity-based design class explores palette building and color balance when creating an apparel or textile collection. First, we will discuss how and why designers use color stories and learn how to create our own strategic color palette. Then we will discover how to change the mood, season, or feeling of our color palette by merely adjusting the color proportion. Each student will use their unique palette and discover six variations of color balance. In the welcome email upon sign up, you will receive a custom print-out that your child will use throughout the class. The skills developed in this class are not only applicable to fashion, but to all areas of art and design.
