Class Experience

Students will practice their drawing and science skills. The theme for this class is color mixing! We will learn how to mix primary colors to form secondary colors. We will practice our art skills by drawing different beakers and mixing colors to form new ones. We will use lines and shapes to create a picture.

Students should have background knowledge with colors and paint. Prior knowledge is helpful, but not necessary as we will work on these skills.

Learners will increase their skills in drawing and listening.

Delaware Teaching Certificate in Music/Theater/Arts
During the school year I teach art to students in both a general classroom and special needs classroom. My school is in the city and serves students in grades K-5. I am trained in all areas of art. I also teach blocks of reading and math to students in a small group setting. The lessons that I am teaching in this class are lessons that I have taught at my school.
