Color Me Surprised! - A Class About Colors
In this 3 class course, students will learn to identify colors, sort items by color, the colors of the rainbow, and how to mix colors.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the order of the rainbow, color words, and primary vs secondary colors through the use of color mixing.

printables project materials- 3 cups of water, red/blue/yellow food dye.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Kahoots
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Younger students may need assistance setting up the color mixing project for the last day. I will share my screen to present a nearpod presentation. Students will not be required to access this source on their own. A google slides presentation and Kahoot! will be posted for students to practice and assess their knowledge. These do not require logins. The google slides presentation will be a simple link to follow and download. The Kahoot! will require a code that I will present and for the student to create a "nickname". Youtube videos will be used via screen share.
