In this class, your child will learn six colors of the rainbow! They will also be able to identify other objects that are the same color. Each child will get a chance to choose an object. This will reinforce their knowledge of the specific color. They will begin to learn word recognition by seeing the name of the color displayed. This will aid in pre-reading skills. The goal of this class is for your child to identify six colors and choose objects that are the same color! Coloring will help with the development of fine motor skills. Singing will help with memorization of colors learned. Seeing the name of the color will help with the development of reading skills.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music specializing in Voice. I like to incorporate music into my teaching style whenever I can. I have worked in the public schools. I also taught Christian education to youth in my church where I was also the youth choir director. I currently teach English as a second language online to children ages 3-18. I am a mother of a 15 year old and a 5 year old!
