US Grade 2 - 5
Throughout the class, students will receive a well-rounded look at the various aspects of life in Colonial America. The class will be facilitated with a teacher-made powerpoint to allow students to see images of life during this time period for children growing up inside the American colonies. Students will see daily chores as well as a typical school day for children of all lifestyles. I believe strongly in allowing students to see/experience things firsthand. It is for this reason, each class will conclude with the opportunity to watch how to make a homemade whirligig or participate in it if you choose to do so at home.
Learning Goals
Students will gain an appreciation and understanding of life in the colonies.
