Class Experience

Students will learn to work through stressful situations, increase mental clarity and stamina, and develop coping mechanisms for the rigors or life after high school.
I have been teaching Yoga for over a year and am registered with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200.
My students have been senior citizens, hospital employees, adults, and teenagers. I have been lucky to work with an incredibly diverse amount of students and abilities.
While there is no homework, students are encouraged to maintain a journal that includes their reflections.
Yoga or exercise mat (if available but not necessary) Journal / Notebook and pen (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will not receive an assessment. For the class as it is ongoing.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
If available, students should use a Yoga Mat or other non-slip floor covering. If using a yoga mat, students can be barefoot on the mat. Whatever space is being used, students should have enough space to open their arms and straddle their legs in all directions.
During the class, I offer numerous options for the postures so that students can nurture their bodies capabilities. Students should not attempt any postures that cause pain and should pull back if in pain. Finally, students should consult a physician before starting any physical exercise routine.
