NOTE: College Math Prep covers basic High School Math Skills ranging from Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry, and includes some Statistics, Probability, and Trignometry. I have a bachelor’s degree in Science in Education with a Math Education minor. I have 2 years of teaching experience and over 17 years of learning experience.
Though it is not required, learners are encouraged to complete some practice problems on their own. Each topic will be reviewed during class time.
Learners will need to have with them the following materials: 1. Something to take notes on (online document, notebook, or paper) 2. A writing utensil (pen or pencil) 3. A calculator
4 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I use a variety of worksheets from Big Math Ideas who build their worksheets in compliance with the Common Core Standards.
