Class Experience
In this class, students are exposed to Chinese sentences or texts with reduced amount of pīn yīn/拼音, in order to be able to read Chinese characters without help of pīn yīn/拼音. Also, students will gain more confidence to speak Chinese and ask Chinese questions. Homework is always related to repeat writing Chinese characters, so that students can remember them and recognize them. Students are encouraged to type Chinese sentences or questions in the classroom. Reviewing each Quizlet review at home is helpful, but it's optional. If time is allowed, we will play Blooket games at the end of each lesson. Practice typing Chinese sentences with Chinese characters or writing Chinese sentences by hand is cool.
