Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of themselves. They will encounter a wide selection of potential college destinations and will complete and submit at least one college application.
Annie Edwards has for nearly four decades been a teacher, administrator, and mentor in an independent school setting. She grew up in Maine. Most recently, Annie served as the Director of University Guidance at Beijing City International School in Beijing, China. She designed and delivered a college prep program for grades 9-12 and presented workshops on topics including course selection, exploring extracurricular activities, individual student self discovery, creating the college list, studying in the US and abroad, as well as the entire college search and application process. Prior to that post, Annie resided in upstate New York in the U.S where she served as the Associate Director of College Guidance, Academic Director and Advisor of the Community service program. She also taught French, English and psychology. Annie holds a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University, a master's degree from Middlebury College, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA.
