First Outschool Course? Get $20 towards any Outschool class! Enter this code when enrolling: CARISSAH20 Note - Because of the limitations of Outschool's availability/scheduling system, it is possible that on occasion it may show I'm available when I'm not. If you book a session and I'm not available, I'll let you know as soon as possible to reschedule (or offer full refund). Thanks for your understanding. COURSE DESCRIPTION This short class is designed for two purposes: Option 1) Have some quick questions about your college application? The admissions process? Want a professional college consultant to review your application to make sure everything looks correct? Let's chat! Option 2) Some students may be interested in enrolling in my more personalized Mentoring classes in either the ongoing (http://bit.do/ongoingmentoring) or multi-day (http://bit.do/6sessionmentoring) formats, but they are unsure if we would be a good fit and/or want to meet me first. This quick chat meeting is for you! This class allows for a focused, intentional review of one college application OR provides for a short discussion on any quick questions your teen has about college. (This course is NOT designed to provide detailed/substantial feedback on application essays or any other written statement, no matter how short. If you are looking for help on your college application essay, please enroll in my One-On-One College Application Essay Consulting class. If in the course of reading an essay, minor grammar issues are found, the student will be advised during the meeting.) *All students should have their cameras on for this class due to the one-on-one conversation style of this course and should expect to share their screen. If there is any concern about this, please do message me prior to class so we can discuss accommodations. **To follow Outschool policy and protect your teen's privacy, we will NOT review the "Profile" or "Family" section of the Common Application.

Parental Guidance
Students will be advised to navigate to a specific part of their application first, before sharing their screen, in order to assure their personal information is not shared.
*Part of applying to college requires students submit additional items either before, during, or after the actual application is submitted. These items and their deadlines and instructions to submit can be found on each individual college's website. All students are advised to review these.
Ultimately, it is the student's sole responsibility (and parents' if they want to help their teens) to make sure their application is fully complete, accurate, and submitted by the selected deadline, and this includes all supplemental items in addition to the application.
