College Admissions Essay Review and Coaching Session With a Harvard Graduate

Do you want your student to get valuable, customized, 1-on-1 college application admissions essay and personal statement coaching? This is the perfect session for them! This interactive college admissions essay coaching session is led by a Harvard graduate with extensive experience. Common App essays or something else, this session can accommodate.

NOTE: It is highly recommended that your learner complete "Crafting a Powerful College Admissions Essay and Personal Statement" with Ms. Rena before enrolling in this class.

Each of these hour-long sessions are designed for your student to receive personalized college admissions essay coaching and advice, no matter what shape or form the essay is currently in. Whether your student has a full-fledged draft or needs help reflecting and brainstorming, Ms. Rena will meet your student where they are. Your student will receive customized advice for college admissions essay improvement in order to make their work more powerful, concise, and authentic. 

Sample of topics that might be covered in a session:

1. Evaluation of the current status of your student's essay - what stage is it in? What are the main areas of improvement?  
2. Prompt adherence - is the content that's being presented aligned with the required prompt? If not, how can that alignment be improved?
3. Essay coaching - guidance given on things like clarity, flow, coherence, structure, and more.
4. Advice on the next draft - how might your student improve their essay as they work on their next draft?

*PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: More than one session will most likely be needed, due to the draft iteration process. Start with booking one session with Ms. Rena to see if it's a good fit. The first session is an introductory session. Typically, Ms. Rena will make a recommendation about the number of additional sessions required. Sporadic and à la carte booking is discouraged.
