Colors and shapes can often tell a story in art. In this class, learners will cut or tear colored paper to create a story or to show an emotion. After our get to know you time, we will review how to take turns in the ZOOM classroom. The artist Henri Matisse will be introduced. We will talk about how colors can express certain emotions and shapes symbolize certain things. Each learner will think of a story/scene they want to create. Learners will be encouraged to share their progress and be given any help they need to encourage their imaginations. Collage is a fun process to create. I believe in enjoying the creativity of making art and having fun together.
