Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
As a parent, I did not know what cogAT test meant for my scholar's education career and I did not have any knowledge of the test when my daughter's school administered the test. Even though she scored really well, I still was on a path to help parents and students understand what this test is measuring and how to prepare them to take it. My workshop on Outschool receives many requests from parents like me and you but unfortunately I do have a very limited time to be able to offer my workshops to fit everyone's needs. I am adding 0ne-on-one class in the hopes of being able to help more scholars and parents. It is customized focusing on individual student's needs. We may need one session or 2 or 3 depending on your scholar's needs to prepare for the test. We will focus on learning how to answer the questions using problem solving techniques and reviewing question categories prepare your child for being admitted to the Gifted & Talented or AP programs.

We will practice verbal and nonverbal areas in sentence completion, verbal analogies, paper folding, number series and more. I am looking forward to working with your student.
