Class Experience

I am a certified K-12 art teacher with experience teaching all age levels. Every summer I teach elementary art at summer school. This project is one of my students' favorites every year!
If students don't finish making all their tie dye coffee filters on day 1 they can make a few more for homework.
Day One: -Coffee Filters- at least 10 -Washable Markers (like Crayola or Mr. Sketch) -Paint Brush -Cup of Water -Paper to protect the surface/table from the markers. -I suggest extra paper or newspaper to lay the coffee filters on while they dry Day Two -Scissors -Clear Tape -String of any color -Tie Dye Coffee Filters from Day 1
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be asked to use scissors to cut their coffee filters on day 2.
