Coding With Virtual Dash (SP)

This self paced class provides the opportunity to work on new coding puzzles at your convenience.  

Students will learn and practice the basics of coding, problem solving and critical thinking skills using the drag and drop programing language, Blockly, designed for Dash & Dot robots.  Students will code a Virtual Dash.  

Dash is not required for class, but if you do have Dash, you can connect via bluetooth to blockly, and code your robot instead.  

What to expect weekly: 
- A video to introduce new lesson
- A video by teacher reviewing and working through each lesson (students can pause and resume video when ready)
- Teachers will monitor progress and provide solutions or extensions as needed.    
- Information on what to do if you are stuck
- Communication with teacher via Outschool for additional support

Students will need a computer for coding.  Make Wonder is a free website.  Teacher will provide class code to join class.
